It all starts with an idea. An idea that grows into an image. An image that tells a story about a place in time, a moment, a feeling, captured with passion and respect. As a painter, I am also a storyteller. I invite you into my landscapes, to visually wander through the woods, down a path or into a garden. Ideally, my paintings offer a respite from the routine of everyday life. I work both in oil and watercolor. I am particularly fond of New England landscapes, which offer a variety of colors and textures. Travel is also a great source of inspiration. There is a limitless amount of material to paint, wherever you roam.
My experience includes over twenty years in visual arts, including graphic design, photography and painting. I have studied with master painters and received awards at a variety of art shows. My work is in private collections throughout the country and beyond. After owning and operating my own art gallery in New Hampshire for five years I relocated to Gulfport, Florida in 2016, where I maintain my home studio.
