Watch as ceramic artist Brenda McMahon throws a round vessel on the potter's wheel. This is the first stage (and the most fun!). From there she will trim it, then burnish it (polish with a stone) and then put the piece in the bisque firing. This is the first of two firings. Each hand-thrown vessel takes 3-4 weeks to complete the creative cycle.More Info
